Hi, my name is Naina
I started Naina Ayurveda when it became clear to me as to what my path and purpose in this life is - to help guide others back to a true sense of self that is not defined through our biology & mental conditioning.
This happened when I myself went through an intense period of transformation physically, mentally and spiritually by implementing the teachings of Ayurveda, yoga, Vedic living and meditation.
Through the realisations and study of these sciences, I found a deeper meaning and purpose in life that enabled me to feel more balanced and healthy - in all aspects of my being.
I noticed I had a gift in sharing what seemed complex, in a more simple and digestible way, and so I began sharing through Youtube videos and conducting online classes and workshops.
After moving through various stages of life, I found myself settling in Rishikesh, India where I met my partner and moved into a more settled way of life, continuing to study & teach Ayurveda and Vedic psychology to those that are keen to learn.
My background as a pharmacist, originally from the UK enables me to have a credible footing in understanding people’s health concerns - and also allowing me to communicate how Ayurveda works more effectively to a Western audience.
As a meditator and seeker for many years, I also understand how important it is to have a spiritual foundation in life. I myself have been following a path called, “Self-Realization” through the Kriya Yoga lineage with the teachings from Yoga Guru Paramahansa Yogananda. This path has a strong emphasis on knowledge & technique, particularly in meditation practices.
After I made a switch from pharmacy to Ayurveda, I began to notice that we need some help and support with our minds, and so I took up a study of Vedic Counselling so that I can support clients on a deeper level with their healing.
One thing that I feel is most powerful about this path is that there is no recognisable “end point”. I see my life like this also, in that situations and challenges will keep revealing themselves as opportunities for further growth. This is what I like to help my clients most with - learning to become psychologically healthy & immune to all that life may present to them.
The skills to become talented “riders of life’s waves” are rooted in much of what Vedanta and Ayurveda can teach. A way of life that equips the mind and body to go through life as a victor and not a victim.
At this present time I am in between homes as the UK as well as India. My work is primarily online which allows me to have a more regular and wider client base.
My aim as your consultant and practitioner is to guide you to more clarity, strength and empowerment in body, mind and Spirit - remaining open to insights and possibilities that this may uncover for you in your life. This might be through working at a level of physical health concern, or it may be through helping you find a way back to “yourself” with some Vedic teachings.
I wholly believe that we are all simply varied manifestations of a unifying principle of light - and this means we all have the potential within us to expand into more than what we have been conditioned and felt to believe about ourselves.
If this may resonate with you, it would be an honour and pleasure to help you where I can :)
